Months 9 and 10--with lots of pics

So Parker's 9 month check up, he weighed 19 lbs 6 oz., and was 29.5 inches tall!! He started eating 'real adult' food, crawling all over the place and pulling up and creeping around furniture. He loves to be sung to, LOVES his baths and is very ticklish! :) Loves to laugh and smile and is getting more and more outgoing. Parker took his first steps at 10 1/2 months and started to stand unassisted. Babbling and 'talking' more and more--and sometimes 'sings'!! :) Enjoy the pics!

One night in early April, we joined the Pascazio's for dinner in downtown Greenville and then went and fed the ducks --or the rocks, Anna, and the ground!! :) We had a wonderful time and it was such a nice evening spent with friends!

One of our Supper clubs, we got to meet precious little Campbell!! She is adorable and it's nice to have another girl join the group! :)
she's just beautiful!!
and to keep the kiddos entertained, just put them in the back of the Clayton's car!! :)

Took Parker to the park with our friend Missy and her son, Jackson. This is his first time in a real swing!

We got Parker this lion push/walking toy and he LOVES it!

Sporting the 'frat-tastic' look, as his daddy would say :)

This weekend in April we went up to my Dad's to celebrate my Grandpa's 91st birthday! We had a great time visiting with Dad and my Grandpa and of course, Parker was the source of much joy! :)

My cousin Ginny came out on Saturday to get some Parker time too! ;)

When we got home on Sunday, Parker had a good time walking in the grass barefoot

Of course, he wasn't quite sure at first....

but he loved it!

We were so excited to be able to celebrate Luke and Madison's first birthday with them! I can't wait to see all of the kids grow up and become great friends like their parents!! Hard to believe that it's been a year---what fun lies ahead!

Opening gifts

The adorable print that GiGi gave the twins for their room--how precious! Can you tell that it was really special for Natalie?! ;)

The Dad's keeping the boys tame--well, at least trying! Bert and James, Matthew and Ellison and Bruce with Parker

Birthday cake time---aren't the cupcake cakes cute!?

"umm--what's this?! "

One weekend, Mom and Jamie came up to visit. It was great having them around and very special that they were able to come considering Jamie is still in the mist of chemo treatments. If you could continue to keep him in your prayers, it would mean alot to our family. Unfortunately the cancer has spread, and he gets tired very easily and he is having to take pain medication due to the pain. But his spirits are high, especially when he gets to spend time with family and Parker!!

We took these pictures for our mothers for Mother's Day--one is of my hands with Parker's, the other's are Bruce's and one is with all of our hands. I then wrote a poem for each of the Mom's letting them know how much they are loved and how they used their hands to raise us, and now we are using our hands to raise our son. The mother's day post is above! :) But enjoy the special pics!
