A busy weekend

Last weekend we were very busy!! Saturday we had 3 parties to go to and then on Sunday we had the Bruce/Henson Christmas. The weekend started off with Anna's 2nd birthday party--with ELMO!! Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the birthday girl, but we did get a family pic with Elmo! ;) After the birthday party, Parker and I went to the FNA reunion with all of the kids! The reunion was mainly a chance for us to meet Julie's precious baby girl before they move away and we also got to eat some good food! (which is always a requirement for FNA meetings!!) :) And then...Jonathan's 30th birthday party Saturday night!! We had a great time with all of our friends on Saturday and we are so blessed to have them in our lives!

Sunday afternoon was the Bruce/Henson Christmas gathering with more good food and the Christmas exchange and the annual picture on the stairs! (Parker was taking a nap during the photo, so we got some with him after he woke up!!--don't worry!) :) Again, we had a blast spending time with family and catching up.

Our family wants to wish your family a Merry Christmas and we pray that the Lord continues to bless you in the coming year!

Cereal!

Well, to celebrate Parker's 5 month birthday we decided to try cereal for the first time. "Happy 5 month, have some goo!!" :) If you can't tell by the pictures--he LOVED it!! We really enjoyed feeding it to him and it's been fun these last 2 weeks--soon it will be veggies! YUMMY!

A happy boy!
On a another note, wanted to post the site where you can look at Parker's last photo session with Kim DeLoach. It was so fun and the pictures turned out amazing!! Thanks Kim!! :) To look at the slideshow, click here and scroll down to the header Merry 1st Christmas Parker. To order pictures (if you want to) click here and then enter the site. Once there, go to proofing on the left side and then use the code ParkerLChristmas.
Enjoy!

Thanksgiving and Parker's 4 month old recap

Okay, so again I am having to post several posts to catch up, but the important thing is that you get to see a bunch of pictures!! So make sure you scroll down and look at the other post that follows! :) As I am writing this, Parker just turned 5 months old!! I can't believe it! But this post is about his 4th month and Thanksgiving--stay tuned for month 5!! :) Parker is really getting to be alot of fun with new sounds, new faces and learning something new everyday! You can just see him learning! He is starting to grab at things like your drink or the remote, phone, etc! He loves to 'talk' and has really noticing Maggie! He can sit with assistance before he slumps over, but getting better each day and he sleeping about 10-12 hours at night. He experienced his exersaucer for the first time and LOVES it! He loves to laugh and smile now and we just adore him!!

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Bruce side of the family at the lake and we had a great time!! The weather was beautiful and we couldn't have been more thankful for all that the Lord has blessed us with this past year!! Enjoy!

Some catching up

Well, I have a lot of catching up to do!! Here are a few pictures of some of the things we have been up too! The first ones are from Florence when we stopped over to spend the night on our way back from the beach. We (basically Parker) needed to break up the trip and it was great to see most of the family during our short visit, and Parker got to meet Aunt Linda and Aunt Cher--so that was great!! :) The other ones are from our first meeting of our Supper Club since all of the new additions!! (We were missing the Epting's and the Vickery's--so we were short some kids!) Enjoy the pictures! :)
