To start off our Easter weekend, Bruce traded in his 2002 Jeep Cherokee for a 2010 GMC Acadia. It was time to upgrade and get something a little bigger for our family. We LOVE the new car and broke it in driving to Florence for Easter weekend. YEAH for new car smells! :)Before we left for Florence, Gigi came by to bring everyone their Easter gifts!! How fun and so sweet of her! Thanks Gigi for all of the goodies!!
We had a wonderful time in Florence visiting with family. My grandmother came down from Ohio to visit my mom and it was good to see her again. Jamie had chemo this week, so he was a little tired and not feeling so well, but according to him--Parker is the best medicine!! :) A fun treat was my Uncle Mark and Aunt Sherrie came down from NC for Easter Sunday so my Grandma had 2 of her 3 kids with her(we missed you Aunt Sharon)!! This was their first time meeting Parker and it was a mutual liking all around! hehe Also, I got to hear my sister sing for Easter Sunday at her church and it was so special; she did a wonderful job and I was so proud of her!!
All in all, it was a fabulous Easter weekend spent celebrating our RISEN Lord and enjoying all of our families and blessings!!!
