A few more special pictures

So these are some of my favorite pics right before we left the hospital. This is the 'gown' (not dress) that Bruce wore the day he left the hospital and how special that Jeanie brought it for Parker to wear and get some pictures!! :) And when we got home we had this precious sign on our door that my wonderful mother-in-law got for us!! This past week Jeanie has been here to help out and it has been great--she has been the one to get up in the early morning to watch Parker so that we can catch up on some much needed sleep. And the amount of laundry that she has kept up with is amazing---little babies sure do go thru alot of clothes, burpcloths, etc! Thanks so much Gigi!! :)

2 weeks old

Well, it's been a busy 2 weeks with Parker! We have had lots of company and enjoyed every minute of it! Hard to believe that Parker is 2 weeks old today--time has really flown by. (Especially when you are sleep deprived!) :) Enjoy all of the pics!

A week in review

So it's been almost a whole week at home and being parents to our wonderful son, Parker! It's been fun, interesting, tiring and overwhelming all at the same time. (I'm sure all of you parents can identify!!) :) We have been so blessed to have my mom and sister stay with us this week and help out. I honestly don't think we could have made it without them and all of the meals, cleaning and help with Parker. Thanks Mom and Tracie for everything!!

Parker is doing great! We had 3 doctors appts this week (yep, lots of trips in the car already) to check on his bilirubin levels and weight checks. He was jaundice in the hospital and had to be under the bili-lights and then lost a little more weight than the doctors wanted, so we were checking that too! As of Friday, we are in the clear with both the bilirubin levels and the weight!! YAY!! Next doctor's appt in one month.

We both really appreciate all of the phone calls, emails, texts, cards and comments! And now the reason you are checking the blog...PICTURES!!

We came home yesterday. Parker is adjusting. Not a lot of sleep so far but that's the way it goes. We are loving every minute with him. Thanks to the grandmas and Tracie for being here and helping so much. Of course here are a few more pictures.

Bruce here again. Parker and mommy are doing great. Lauren is off all the IV's and everything and has been up and around more and feeling better. Parker is eating well and of course being so cute. Lots of visitors have all been fun. Heading home tomorrow. Here are a few more pictures.

Introducing....

Parker Sullivan Lee

He came at 9:21 PM last night, weighs 8 lbs 3 oz, 20 3/4 inches long. He and mama are doing well. Lauren pushed for almost 2 hrs and he wasn't cooperating so we did a c-section. Needless to say everybody's tired, but Parker is doing great. Thanks to everyone for the texts, calls, e-mails but most of all the prayers!! It was a long day but a great one because the Lord has blessed us with a beautiful little boy!! Here are a few pictures( that somehow ended up posting in reverse order... first one was last and last one first---but you get the idea!)
