Picutres of the Nursery

So I figured I would post some pictures of the most amazing nursery EVER!! (okay, I'm a little biased, but I absolutely LOVE IT!!) My mother-in-law did a fantastic job and we are so excited about little man having his own room! :) The only thing missing is the glider/ottoman which should arrive sometime this week.

My Dr's appt went really well yesterday--all of my lab results came back great and my BP was good. For those of you who would like to know, I'm 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. Going back to the Dr. next Monday, unless Baby Lee has other plans! :)

Getting Started

So here we are starting this journey of parenthood and blogging! I'm sure most of you are quite excited that we have officially started a blog since I have been an avid follower of most of yours and I can now share in the joy of "oh man, I haven't blogged in awhile and I've gotten several threats from friends to update!!" :) So, I am going ahead and letting all of you know that I will do my best to keep things updated, but I'm not making any promises!!! HA! :)

At this time we are just waiting for Baby Lee to make his grand appearance. I am 38 weeks along and on modified bedrest due to elevated BP and swelling. Not working anymore and trying my best to rest and keep my feet up. The Dr's are wanting to get me to 39 weeks so that Baby Lee has a little more time to strengthen his lungs. We had another ultrasound yesterday and he looks great and everything is measuring right on track--weighing in at 6 lbs and 13 oz. I go back to the Dr. today to recheck my BP and then again on Monday.

Bruce is doing such a wonderful job of looking out after me and getting things ready! We are so excited (and nervous) about meeting our son! Thanks for all of your prayers and support and we will keep you updated!!
