Ahh...our annual beach vacation to Litchfield Beach with Bruce's parents!!! Always a wonderful and fabulous time!! Parker really got into the beach this year and loved the ocean and of course, the pool! That boy would swim just about all day if you let him! :) We took it easy this year and didn't go out to eat as much, which left us time after Parker's nap to either go back to the beach/pool late in the afternoon. That was really nice and Parker loved how much free space he had to run! One night we went to Broadway and Parker got to ride the rides (even Mommy and Daddy got to ride one) and both Lucian and Bruce rode the carousel with Parker! That was his favorite ride--he loved the animals! :) Of course we went to Lee's Inlet Kitchen, another tradition, the guys played 3 rounds of golf, some shopping was involved and Bruce and I had a date night playing putt-putt and getting ice cream from Painters!! Overall, it was great to be with GiGi and Goddy and we always hate to leave. I guess that means we had an amazing time! Thanks again Lucian and Jeanie--we love you very much and look forward to next year's vacation!! :)
Love this little guy!!
Checking out the waves
Parker really enjoyed throwing the sand back into the ocean! ;)
Parker and GiGi
He looks so small compared to God's amazing creation
More throwing of the sand
Bruce relaxing in the lazy river
This boy loves to swim :)
He wasn't so sure about taking pictures
But I finally got a smile out of him (with some tickling of course) :)
Tradition! Goddy, GiGi and Parker @ Lee's Inlet Kitchen
Our family
The only day it rained--late afternoon and we killed time at the mall! YAY! :) As we were leaving, Parker decided he should carry the umbrella--what a big boy!
Riding the boats from the old Pavilion @ Broadway at the Beach~ This was Bruce's favorite growing up
Riding the carousel---Parker's favorite by far!! :)
He wanted to ride the lion--each time, even though it didn't move, it was his favorite!!
Riding with Goddy
We finally convinced him to move to another ride--these cute little Jeeps! He did enjoy driving them around! :)
"Yay!!"
I could eat him up! ;)
Bruce enjoying the sun
The ocean was so calm this day---there were hardly any waves!! Parker floated on a boogie board for a long time!! It was really nice
Getting some good GiGi time :)
This was so cute~Goddy was listening to a book on his ipad and Parker decided that he wanted to check it out too!! :) He stayed there for awhile listening!
A tired little boy!! He took amazing naps while we were at the beach! I decided that we now need a beach/ocean/pool in our backyard so that trend will continue!! :)
Thanks again Lucian and Jeanie--we had an amazing time and always look forward to our time together with ya'll at the beach! We love you very much!!
